Himalaya Gangapurna(7455m) is reagarded as most beautiful Himalaya located in the Annapura region between Annapurana III and Tilicho Peak. It is close to Manag district. Mount Gangapurna was climbed by a German team in 1965 until then no one had succeeded. It offes a wonderfull viwes of many Himalayan like Annapurna I, Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Annapurna IV, Mt. Manaslu 8163m, Pisang Peak, Tilicho Peak, Chulu west and Chulu east peak etc… Since Mt. Gangapurna has been many mountaineers summit this peak. Mt. Gangapurna expedition strats from Besi sahar followed by the Marshyandi River, tal, chame, Pisang and Manag and to the base camp. It is full of Technical Mountain and with lots of ice and snowy route. You will also have a chance to visit the famous temple Muktinath on the way.

Mount Gangapurna Expedition Itinerary

Day 01 :Arrive in Kathmandu & transfer to Hotel  for resting
Day 02 : Preparation for the expedition
Day 03 : Briefing for expedition in Ministry of Tourism by an experts
Day 04 : Drive to Besi sahar & Chamche – Overnight at Lodge
Day 05 : Trek  Chamche to  Bagarchap (1700m / 6 hrs) and overnight at Lodge
Day 06 : Trek Bagarchap to  Chame and overnight at  Lodge
Day 07 : Trek Chame to  Pisang  and overnight at Lodge
Day 08 : Trek  Pisang to Manang (3400m) and overnight at Lodge
Day 09 : Resting day at  Manang and  Acclimatization to the altitude.
Day 10 : Trek  Manang village to  Gangapurna Base camp, Overnight Camping
Day 11-29 : Climbing Period for Mt. Gangapurna 7455m
Day 30 : Trek Base Camp to Khangsar (3700m / 6 hrs) , overnight at lodge
Day 31 : Trek  Khangsar  to Pisang and overnight at Lodge
Day 32: Trek  Pisang  to Bagarchap, overnight  at Lodge
Day 33 : Trek  Bagarchap to Chamche, overnight at Lodge
Day 34 : Drive to Kathmandu & transfer to hotel
Day 35 : Resting day at Kathmandu
Day 36 : Final Departure to your destination

  • 5 nights 3 star standard hotels in Kathmandu with bed & breakfast
  • Mt. Manaslu Expedition Permit Fee and Conservation fee
  • Complete camping equipment for trekking & base camp

  • 1 High Altitude Sherpa every 4 members
  • 2 Expedition duffel bag for each member
  • 2 base camp staff (1 Kitchen Boy & 1 cook) and Dining tent, Table, Chairs, Toilet tent, Mess tent and Kitchen tent

  • Generator or Solar panel at Base Camp for light and charging
  • Satellite phone in payable basis (per minute $ 5)
  • Porters to / from the Base camp to carry food and fuel, members climbing gears, and all Base camp equipment
  • Porters return from Base Camp carry per member including food & equipment
  • Transportation: Drive from Kathmandu to Gorkha to Kathmandu for members, Sherpa staffs and equipment
