Nepal Golden Triangle 8 Days Itinerary

Day 01 - Arrival in Kathmandu. Half day sightseeing

Meet & greetings by representative at airport and transfer to Hotel. Half day sightseeing as per your time allows. Overnight at Hotel. Nepal Tour

Day 02 - Sightseeing in Kathmandu

After Breakfast, full day sightseeing of Pashupatinath, Boudhanath & swayambhunath Stupa
Pashupatinath Temple : One of the most sacred Hindu shrines in the world, Pashupatinath lies 5 km east from the city center. The richly-ornamented pagoda houses the sacred linga, or phallic symbol, of Lord Shiva as well as the noteworthy gold plated roofs and silver coated doors. This is the abode of God Shiva and is the holiest of all the Shiva shrines.
Bouddhanath Stupa : It lies about 6 km east of downtown Kathmandu and is the largest stupa in the Valley and one of the largest in the world. It looms 36 meters high and presents one of the most fascinating specimens of stupa design with hundreds of prayer wheels and 108 small images of Buddha all around. Just like the Swayambhunath, the stupa here is too has four sides with the watchful eyes of Lord Buddha. All the Buddhist throng to this stupa to take part in the sacred rituals during the Buddhist festivals. Bouddhanath, a World Heritage Site is also known as Khasti. There are more than 45 Buddhist monasteries in the area. Many have schools that teach young monks like those pictured here.
Swayambhu Stupa : Swayambu watches over the Valley from the top of a hillock on its western side just three kilometers west of the city center. The stupa is one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Nepal and its establishment is linked to the creation of the Kathmandu Valley out of a primordial lake. Swayambhu is also known as Samhengu and is listed as a World Heritage Site. It is also one of the oldest and glorious Buddhist shrines in the world which is said to be two thousand years. The four sides of the stupa is painted with the eyes of Lord Buddha and the temple is also known as the watchful eyes of Buddha.

Kathmandu Nagarkot Pokhara Tour


Kathmandu City: Kasthamandap, the source of the name Kathmandu means 'made from the timber of a single tree'. Also known as Kantipur, the capital Kathmandu is the hub of Nepal's art and culture. It is a place for rest, relaxation and easy-day sightseeing of historic and artistic temples and monuments. Kathmandu Durbar Square with its arrays of temples and the ancient palace of the former Nepali Royals enriches your experience of the centuries old civilization.
Patan Durbar Square
Located 7 km away from Kathmandu . This city has many 15th to 17th century, Hindu and Buddhist, monuments built during the Malla dynasty. The most important area with many monuments is the Patan Durbar square. Historical Significances in Patan are ;- the golden gate and golden windows of the old palace, the famous Krishna temple with 21 golden pinnacles, the royal bath with many carvings on stone and the Royal Taleju Temple.

Day 03 - Transfer Kathmandu to Pokhara

After Breakfast, drive / Fly to Pokhara.
Pokhara is a place of remarkable natural beauty. The serenity of Phewa Lake and the magnificence of the fish tail summit rising behind it create an ambiance of peace and magic. At an elevation lower than Kathmandu, it has much more tropical feel to it, a fact well appreciated by the beautiful diversity of flowers which prosper in it's environ. Indeed, the valley surrounding Pokhara is home to thick forest, gushing rivers, emerald lakes and of course, the views of world famous Himalayas. The serenity of the lakes and the magnificence of the Himalayas rising behind them create an ambience of peace and magic.
Half day sightseeing of Davi’s fall, Gupteswor Cave, World Peace Stupa. Then you are free for boating and visit around Fewa Lake. Overnight at Pokhara

Day 04 - Sightseeing in Pokhara

Early morning drive for sunrise view to Sarangkot then half day sightseeing. Evening free.
Sarangkot : Sarangkot is the small hilltop which is famous for its breath taking view of sunrise and Annapurna range and Fishtail (Virgin Mountain). From here, you can see a panoramic sweep of Himalayan peaks, from Dhaulagiri (8167m) in the west to the perfect pyramid that is Machhapuchhare (6997m) and the rounded peak of Annapurna II (7937m) in the east. Most people come here at dawn or dusk, when the sun picks out the peaks in brilliant colors.
Tibetan Village:
 Tibetan Village Tashiling lies just off the Devi's fall in the south, which is inhabited by the Tibetan people who keeps themselves busy by producing and trading woolen carpets and other handicrafts.
Seti River Gorge: It is carved by Seti River and is one of the natural wonders of Pokhara. KI Singh Bridge at the Bagar, Mahendra Pool & Prithivi Highway Bridge near Bus Park provides a perfect view of the river's dreadful rush and the deep gorge made by the turbulent flow of white water like milk. 

Chitwan Pokhara Tour


Mahendra Cave: Mahendra Cave lies north of the Pokhara valley. It is a large limestone cave, which is one of the few stalagmite stalactite caves found in Nepal.

Day 05 - Transfer Pokhara to Chitwan

Early morning breakfast at hotel and drive to Chitwan National Park for 4-5 hours. View Tharu cultural dances show and stick dance at evening.
Chitwan National Park is attractive tourist hub where you’ll enjoy wild life activities and meet ethnic group Tharu. You can see one horn rhino, 4 different kinds of deer, sloth Bear, Leopards, crocodiles, monkeys and many different species of butterflies, insects & over 450 sorts of colorful & endangered birds.

Day 06 - Jungle activities in Chitwan National Park

Full day jungle activities. Includes elephant back safari & elephant breeding center, canoeing, bird and nature walk, village tour, museum and more as time permits.

Day 07 -  Transfer Chitwan to Kathmandu

VISA REQUIREMENT
All foreigners require a visa for entry into Nepal. The passport must be at least 6 months valid from return date. Nepalese visas can be obtained from the Nepalese Consulate in your country or directly upon arrival in Kathmandu Airport.

You will need two passport photo and following fees
- US$ 25 for 15 days or equivalent convertible currency.
- US$ 40 for 30 days or equivalent convertible currency.
- US$ 100 for 90 days or equivalent convertible currency.

MEALS AND DRINKS
There are plenty of excellent restaurants to serve food and drinks in Kathmandu such as Rum doodles, Fire & ice, La Dolce Vita, Ktoo Steak House, Everest Steak, New Orleans, Gaia etc. Breakfast is provided at your hotel every morning. It will cost $ 3-7 per meal depending on meals item chosen and restaurant.

CLIMATE

Tours are operable all over the year. However, Spring (March to May) and Autumn (Sept. to Dec.) are best seasons for tour and trekking trips where weather is clear and pleasant. For anyone willing to withstand a bit of monsoon (June to August) and cold (late Dec to Feb.), we could operates tours in these time too.
