Ramdung is the name of the peak of 5,925 meter. When our company’s Managing Director Mr. Saila Tamang stood on the summit in 1989 A.D, he decided that it is an ideal name to start up with and in year 1993 A.D Ramdung Expedition Pvt. Ltd was established and that was our beginning.

Guaranteed Departure
Most of the trekking & tour operators only guarantee to run expedition, trek and tour when a minimum number of people have signed up. But our minimum requirement for expedition and restricted area trek is two and for other trips is one. So, you are free to signed up for trek whenever you like in any time and season.

Our cook and kitchen staff are committed to provide fresh, hygienic foods during trekking, expedition. You can have Nepali, Italian, Chinese, Indian as well as other Western meals. Beverages includes Nepali tea, coffee, chocolate, Juices etc. We use locally produced foods which is free of chemicals and pesticides.

A full day trekking and hiking makes you feel tired and exhausted. So, we are committed to arrange you a home away from your home. We choose and suggest best hotels of different category as per your wants. In trekking, we use best local guesthouse/lodge. In expedition we use comfortable high altitude tents.

Our all below members are experienced, professional, sincere, hardworking & friendly.

Mountain Guide
We use mountain guide or Sherpa from Solukhumbu district. Who are been acclimatized to high altitude since their birth. They all possesses certificate of advance level mountain guide training by Nepal Mountaineering Association. Further, they have undergone training from different national, international organization time to time. Their skill in First Aid, High Altitude Sickness, Rescue Evacuation, leadership is the key for our success in peak climbing and expedition.

Trek leader/guide
All our leader/guides are professional and experienced trekkers. Apart from normal trekking route such as Everest, Langtang and Annapurna, they have travelled and lead the group to the other nomadic places. They are fully trained/licensed holder from Ministry of Tourism in Nepal. The common language they use is English and also we provide guides who are fluent in German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Japanese, Chinese, Indian and other foreign languages.

Cook & Kitchen
Our cook & kitchen staffs are fully trained and experience in making foods. The are aware of the physical body needs at different altitude and environment. Healthy, fresh, hygienic, timely foods are preference of the kitchen staffs. 

Asst. Sherpa/Porter/helpers :
Our trekking and Mountaineering porter/helper are fully acclimatized with high altitude and environment. They have been doing trekking over decades making them adjustable in mountain environment. We always choose physically fit and strong porters to carry your bags.

Staff Care & Concern
Our staff are our pillars. Most of our staffs have stayed with us from beginning. Our leaders, guides, cook and porters work as a well-balanced team respecting and understanding each other on every trip, which is key for success. We respect them, provide them with insurance, proper equipment, pay them well. Time to time training are given in order to made them more familiar to their work. 

Health & Comfort
We pay attention to your level of physical fitness and your appetite for endurance and adventure, and plan itinerary accordingly. If you are in a group, we do our best to ensure that you are neither over stretched nor held back by incompatible companions. 

Safety and security
Before you leave your home, we help you to plan and prepare your trip with concise information about the landscape, climate, and local custom overall. You can enjoy and pass high altitude conditions with our discomfort as our itinerary allows time for acclimatization and guides have been trained in mountain safety and first aid procedures. We communicate with our field staffs concerning you. Also we monitor all aspects of government policy and weather that may affect your trip. We are 24 hour on call a day. In the situation of emergency, helicopter rescue is available during treks and expeditions.
